“I now regularly receive messages from colleagues who want to do more with sustainability. The Footprint Challenge has been one of the ways to draw more attention to this theme”.
Sustainability is becoming the new reality, also at bol.com. They want to do better every day: from packaging and delivery in an environmentally friendly way to using 100% local wind and solar energy in their buildings. Bol.com aims for climate neutral shopping by 2025, which means that they reduce their direct footprint to 0 grams of CO2 emissions per package. With the Footprint Challenge, bol.com has challenged their employees to also reduce their personal footprint, with the aim of being more engaged in sustainability and bol.com’s sustainable ambitions.
“What a great communication with you! You were always available. That was really admirable. You really helped us to set up the challenge within bol.com. You were totally on it and you immediately took action when needed. Together we were able to increase the engagement during the challenge. My compliments! It was great to work with you!”
What participants Say
Educational and challenging
“For me the challenge was right up my alley. At home we are trying getting our house “carbon neutral” and to keep our daily impact on the earth as minimal. I found it very educational, fun and challenging!”
